What's New at Calvary

Since October of last year #decolonizelutheranism has been staking out a prominent place in the Lutheran church in the United States. Their convener, Francisco Herrera, will be coming to Calvary to talk about their movement's history, theology, and their current plans - including a special base community training next March as well as their plans to have their national gathering here in the Twin Cities in the summer of 2019. This Adult Education opportunity will follow Sunday morning worship (worship at 10:00, Adult Ed at 11:15). Come to ask questions, stay to sing and pray and see how the Spirit is calling our church!

In December of 2016 Calvary Lutheran hosted an exhibition of local artists' work. Follow this link to the photo gallery section to view thumbnails of the art featured in the show.

As the Church Council looks at the congregation's call and commitment to be a vibrant, nurturing, and faithful community, they are asking church members to pledge their financial support for the Fiscal Year January 1, 2017-December 31, 2017 General Operating Fund.
