Dear Friends in Christ,

I am excited to share with you that Calvary Lutheran Church, located on the corner of 39th Street and Chicago Ave. S. in Minneapolis, is seeking a Director of Children and Youth Ministry.   The position is half time if taken in it's entirety, or could be two separate, smaller positions.  CLICK HERE TO VIEW the attached job description for details.   I ask you to widely share this opportunity with all those in your networks.   Minneapolis is a diverse and bustling metropolitan area, rich with opportunity.  If additional employment is needed, it would not difficult to secure complimentary work. Ideally, we would like to fill this position with someone who can give a two-year commitment.

A little bit about Calvary:  Calvary has a rich, lively, and historic liturgical tradition that includes strong singing, eclectic music, quality preaching, and a strong awareness of justice and the call to be "In this City for Good." We have a dynamic and growing children's and youth program, an active food shelf, a strong focus on social justice, and are committed to living out God's grace in our neighborhoods.   The Urban Arts Academy, which serves preschool through high school aged youth and their families in the area, is one example of the congregation's commitment to the community.  We welcome all people who have been excluded because of cultural or ethnic background, race, physical or mental abilities, socioeconomic or family status, sexual orientation, gender or age.  Learn more about Calvary here:
