God’s Work Our Hands

In 2009 the ELCA invited congregations and ministries to submit videos for the Churchwide Assembly demonstrating how God’s calls to action and justice is being made known in our communities. Calvary Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, in conjunction with PCTV, submitted two videos demonstrating both a congregational ministry (Calvary’s Emergency Food Shelf) and an outreach partnership (the Urban Arts Academy).  These are two very real ways that God’s work is being made known at 39^th and Chicago through the lives and hands of people at Calvary Lutheran Church.
